Unique in North America, the Masq'alors! biennial has been putting the mask in the spotlight since 2009. Through a high-level and diversified program, the festival takes the mask in all its forms from across the world off the beaten paths, creating amazement and arousing curiosity and creativity. The event's activities are open to local and international arts professionals and specialists, and of course, to a wide audience of all ages. Masq'alors! welcomes artists from Québec and abroad, mixing tradition and modernism, offering performances, exhibitions, conferences, round table discussions, workshops, and popular activities. Not to be missed, the traditional closing masked parade in the streets of this 525 resident community, renowned for its cultural vitality and social spirit.
