About the Festival de cinéma de la Ville de Québec
For more than 10 years, the Quebec City Cinema Festival (FCVQ) has offered the public of the greater Capitale-Nationale region and eastern Quebec its great cinema festival. Between fiction and documentary, between local, national and international cinema, the FCVQ is a general public, festive and friendly event. While presenting a large-scale program in state-of-the-art theaters including Le Diamant, the FCVQ makes films and their makers accessible in a simple and uninhibited manner. With its series of free outdoor screenings on Place D’Youville, the FCVQ participates in the great tradition of popular events so dear to Quebec City.
