On a beautiful evening in June, you walk the lively streets of Rouyn. The atmosphere is festive and warm. Laughter bursts through the venues where each performance creates a unique connection between the artists and the audience. Between 2 shows you take advantage of food trucks and local kiosks while interacting with other poeple passionnate about humor. That's what the Emerging Comedy Festival is all about!

The Emerging Comedy Festival has quickly become an essential regional event celebrating creativity, laughter and artistic discovery in the heart of Abitibi-Témiscamingue. Our mission is simple: to provide a dynamic platform for emerging artists, while cultivating a unique experience where laughter and good humor are present. Each year, our festival presents a rich and varied program featuring talented comedians and original themes, offering spectators the opportunity to discover new talents and create memorable memories. We manage to recreate the atmosphere and excitement of Montreal comedy evenings, in Rouyn-Noranda, and in Festival mode.
